If you aren't familiar with Purex Crystals, it is a fabric softener in the form of little crystals that you add at the beginning of your wash cycle. It softens and adds a nice scent to your clothing that lasts throughout the drying cycle and keeps your clothes smelling good for weeks.
Each bottle comes with a cap that is pre-measured to indicate a light or strong scent. So the more you add, the stronger the scent and vice versa. I myself prefer a very light scent, so I didn't add much to my laundry. It was the perfect companion to the baby detergent!
I have to note that MH did not complain after I used this, so that made me happy--it did not make him itch, but did soften clothes and get rid of static. This new fabric softener is hypoallergenic, dye free, 87% natural, and safe fore children's sleepwear. It can be purchased at Walmart the beginning of February, so keep an eye out for it. A 28 oz bottle retails for about $6 or less.
