A 33 load bottle of Purex Baby retails for around $5.00, making it very affordable. A larger size bottle will be available soon! I have been using this for about two weeks and absolutely love the light, baby scent! It adds just a touch of fragrance to clothing, so it doesn't over power you. It has not irritated MH's skin at all--which is amazing, since he complains about any change in laundry detergents making him itch.
It cleans pretty good, getting out most stains that I have come across on our clothing. I have not tried it on set in stains, or as a pre-treater yet. Another important thing to note--it does NOT harm the flame-resistance of sleepwear. So you can rest assured your child's clothing stays safe. I have also noticed our clothing feels softer now, another plus.
Purex Baby is not available in all stores right now. You can use their Store Locator at purex.com/products/detergents/baby to find the store nearest you that carries it. I found it at our local Walmart.

We use Dreft, but its so expensive, I would love to try the baby Purex! I love that its hypoallergenic too! I think it would be great for my son too who has alot of soap allergies!
ReplyDeleteI currently don't use any special detergents, but my eldest grandson has eczema and very sensitive skin-since I am now doing their laundry a couple times a week until they can get a new machine it would be fun to try this out and see how it works for him!
