I have watched Sheer Cover commercials on tv for years. It always looked like something that would be good for my skin, but what happens on commercials isn't necessarily the way it is in real life. They tend to make the product seem so great, but it is not. Who wants to spend money on something that won't work? Thanks to Influenster, I had the chance to try out the duo concealer in the light/medium shade.
It is supposed to cover blemishes, age spots, redness, scars, etc. without feeling heavy or cakey on your skin. It is very light and feels amazing on my skin, but it didn't cover very well. I tried to hide my brown spots, but it just didn't seem to completely cover them. I suppose I could have kept on applying more and more concealer, but I didn't want to. How much is too much? I didn't experience any irritation, which is nice considering many concealers I've used caused breakouts because they seemed to clog my pores. I like the fact that it also moisturizes your skin with Jojoba and Allantoin and provides antioxidant protection.
Sheer Cover Duo Concealer can be purchased at their website, www.sheercover.com, for $29.95 for non members, or $29.95 for the whole introductory system (one month supply kit of 6 products + 3 bonus) if you become a member.

Hi Lori, are there two different shades in the compartment? Do you mix them together? Just curious as I have wondered how it works. The Jojoba in the product sounds really good. Have a wonderful day :-)
ReplyDeleteRaquel, Yes there are two shades that can be mixed together to match your skin better. As in the picture, one shade is darker than the other :)
