I love the convenience of ready to bake cookies. Just place on a cookie sheet and slide into the oven for a few minutes and you have a yummy treat. Now our dog Nellie can enjoy that same convenience thanks to Freshpet! They have come out with two varieties of 18 ready to bake cookies for dogs, in Dog Joy Peanut Butter & Oatmeal and Dog Nation Oatmeal & Cranberry.
Nellie didn't have a preference, liking both equally. I know they sure did smell good! They are a good size, so it fit her perfectly. I baked her cookies for 14 minutes so they would be soft since she tends to eat so fast that choking can be a problem with anything too crunchy.
As with all of Freshpet's products, they are fresh and made with good, wholesome ingredients, without preservatives. I was going to try a little bite to see how they taste, but Nellie was giving me the eye...in other words, back away from my cookies! The cookies should be stored in an air tight container and should last for about 14 days...if Nellie has her way, it will be considerably less.
The cookies retail for about $4.99 to $6.99 and can be purchased at select grocery, mass market and pet specialty stores. Freshpet has a wide variety of food for dogs and cats found in the refrigerated section of select stores. All made with ingredients you can feel good about and know that it is safe for your loved ones. These cookies have been given Nellie's two paws up approval!
