Listerine Total Care Review

I was recently asked to try and review Listerine Total Care Mouthwash from Mom Central, on behalf of Johnson's.



LISTERINE TOTAL CARE is an Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash,and is the only fluoride mouthwash that contains six benefits in one:

· Helping to prevent cavities
· Restoring enamel
· Strengthening teeth
· Killing bad breath germs
· Freshening breath
· Fighting unsightly plaque above the gum line

Some Information:

*Is intended for adults and children ages 12 and older.

*Vigorously swish 10 mL (2 teaspoonfuls) of rinse between your teeth for one minute and then spit out. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after rinsing.

*Should be used twice daily after brushing your teeth for two minutes. Floss daily.

It is fresh mint flavor, which I like, even though it is a light purple color. It contains alcohol, so you still get the burning mouth feeling. It doesn't seem to burn as much as the original Listerine though. It did leave my mouth and teeth feeling clean and even lasted until the next brushing. I really liked it, except for the burning.

It is so important to have good oral health, which can affect your whole body. I am one of those people who doesn't go to the dentist as often as I should and with the way things are nowadays, a lot more people will fall into that category, unfortunately.

A recent survey done by Cigna indicates that 41 percent of Americans are taking worse care of their health because of the economy, and I just saw on the news last week where people are going without dental care because they can't afford it. It seems to be one of those things that aren't a necessity. How do you feel about it?
